The Oregon Institute of Technology is seeking proposals to select a contractor to provide internal audit activities involving analysis of university practices and assisting university in determining if its departmental activities and procedures are efficient and effective; determining if a department is in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, procedures, contracts and agreements; evaluation of the adequacy and effectiveness of a department's internal controls; and/or investigating matters related to thefts, frauds, and other financial misconduct reported or detected during the internal audit examination process in relation to accounting process and internal control structure, in accordance with Statements on Standards for Attestation Engagements as issued by the AICPA, Government Auditing Standards as issued by the Comptroller of the United States, and/or in accordance with standards, as applicable, as issued by the Institute of Internal Auditors at the time of engagement.
