The Oregon Institute of Technology (Oregon Tech) is seeking proposals to select a contractor to provide services to make its website (oit.edu) more effective as a recruitment vehicle, more attractive, and more manageable overall. Our goal is to make the website primarily a portal for prospective student users, providing an intuitive navigation system that is engaging, and provides a first-class online experience for users, naturally guiding them to the information they need and to areas where they can seek more information or apply. Secondarily, the site also will serve the needs of current students, staff, faculty and other site visitors.
It is important that a new content management system remains current with advances in technology and educational delivery systems while supporting an environment where requirements often change quickly. Oregon Tech currently uses Sitefinity but would like recommendations for possibly changing to a content management system (CMS) that is a better fit with our management, integration and editorial needs.
